Personal Best Achieved

Ashton who has been regularly attending our Club to 5k project achieved a personal best this Saturday while running the Bridport Park Run 5k.

He ran the 5k in an amazing 34mins 15secs, and has made great commitment and progress turning up to the fitness sessions each week.

Ashton was also gifted some running shoes to help him continue on with his journey into running.

The aim of our Club to 5k project was to give young people in our community the opportunity to join in with a weekly fitness session with the aim to build up to running a 5k at the end of the project.

Our Club to 5k project was an initiative funded under the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner’s Fix the Future Fund, which wanted to offer projects and initiatives that benefited young people in their local communities.

Well done to all who have taken part!
