Beaminster, Bridport and the surrounding area we serve was featured on Channel 4 News this week - with star appearances from Rev Jo who is one of our Trustees and Ruth who runs our Acapella Young People’s Choir as a volunteer.

Sadly we are so familiar with the challenges they covered in the programme - which was called ‘trapped on the breadline in rural Britain’.

The Prout Bridge Project exists to fight social isolation in our rural community and to offer affordable things to do for people who may not be able to travel to or afford other activities. We are working to create a community hub where everyone is welcome which hosts services like the Food Bank and offers information and support.

And if you would like to support us in our work please do consider making a donation or sponsoring us - you can find out more in the ‘ways to help’ section here. Thank you!
